Another book written by a current naval aviator, this is a good gallop though perhaps somewhat too big a subject for the usual Osprey format (in this case 64 pages). It is excellently illustrated with photographs from the FAA Museum archives. I would like to read a longer volume on this subject by this author, but think that this is a good introduction. I have a small niggle. This is No 152 in the Warrior series; most of it is not about people, but about aircraft, equipment, and the origins of British Naval Aviation. There is even a chapter on Museums. Nevertheless, I liked it.
