Does anyone know anything more than the Wiki entry (below) on Richard Euringer, who is believed to have written at least two 'faction' books between the wars about his experiences flying with FA 300 in Palestine ? 
Richard Euringer ( /wiki/April_4 - April 4 , /wiki/1891 - 1891 /wiki/August_29 - August 29 , /wiki/1953 - 1953 ) was a /wiki/Germany - German /wiki/Writer - writer . Although active starting in the 1920s, he is best known for his later career, in which he was a supporter of the /wiki/Nazism - Nazis . From 1950 he published under the pseudonym Florian Ammer.

Euringer was born in /wiki/Augsburg - Augsburg , where he attended /wiki/Gymnasium_%28school%29 - Gymnasium . He then became a soldier and officer, and in /wiki/World_War_I - World War I enlisted as a pilot. After the war he took up writing, and published several books.

Starting in 1931, he became a political-cultural correspondent for the /wiki/V%C3%B6lkischer_Beobachter - Völkischer Beobachter , a Nazi newspaper. In 1933, his work Deutsche Passion attracted the attention of /wiki/Joseph_Goebbels - Joseph Goebbels , gaining him for the first time national attention. In 1933, he also became a director of the libraries in /wiki/Essen - Essen . In this capacity, he identified 18,000 works deemed not to correspond with Nazi ideology, which were /wiki/Book_burning - publicly burned as a result. In 1934 he became a member of the advisory boards for writing and broadcasting in the Reich. After 1936, he worked as a freelance writer.
