Councillor F Speakman, Flat 3rd Floor, Coronation Buildings, Coronation Walk, Southport, donated a four bladed aeroplane propellor No G653M18 - T7448 RAF 1A 100 HP BE2C D2769mm P2835mm to a museum in Southport on the 15th of May 1941.
Long thought to be from a Vulcan built aircraft, the prop dates from early 1918 (i.e. after Vulcan had ceased BE2 production).
I'm wondering if Councillor Speakman had any RFC/RNAS/RAF service ?
