I can't read the French very well, but I thought "Monoplace" means single-seater - but this is clearly a two-seater, presumably a Spad XII.
 
But of course the writing may not have been by an expert; in fact the writing on the front of the card looks as though it could have been done by a child.

Thanks Aiden.  I can see it is a two seater, shame the chap in the flying suit is standing in front of the markings.
