Hi all !!
Not sure if anyone can help ??? i am seeking information on Max Holtzems fight on 18 March 1918 with an S.E.5 over Le Cateau this plane was piloted by 84 Sqn. RFC, 2/Lt. H.A. Payne ..who sadly died of his wounds from this action. The plane landed intact !! and was captured and flown by Holtzem.
On the off chance are any details of this incident noted in any of Holtzems writings ???? i think an article was writen in C&C ..sadly i dont have a copy. If anyone can add any info it would be great to hear from you !! Many Thanks Casp ![]() |
