concerning training depots. I am aware of the various locations with the notation of TDS (training depot station) eg 6 TDS = (Boscombe Down)
But can anyone tell me what  the notation  18 N.B.D indicates. I believe this was located around Salisbury plain but have as yet not found any description for N.B.D

Airman 585,  A quick message to correct some duff info I gave you earlier.

Stonehenge was No 1 School of Navigation & Bomb Dropping. This is possibly where your N.B.D. came from. My apologies.

Peter Wright.
