I was sent a list of corrections for Davilla that runs to several pages, but we'll not get in to that just now... I've tried to make sense of French aircraft designations, so Davilla & Soltan have my greatest sympathy. http://pages14-18.mesdiscussions.net/pages1418/aviation-1914-1918/voisin-canon-sujet_526_1more.htm has some more photos and seem to refer to it as a Voisin Canon - which Harry Woodman says is a Voisin Ca 5, the cannon-armed version of the Ca 4, itself a development of the Type V3 or LA. GB1, GB2 & GB3 were escorted by these Voisins during the autumn of 1915. There was an inconclusive combat with a German aircraft on 20.5.1915. V101 & V110 had them on the Verdun front in 1916. Six were in front line service on 22.8.1915, and 25 by 1.2.1916.
