Lighter Restoration
The rusting remains of a 1918 Thorneycroft lighter have been found on the banks of the Thames. The hulk has been recovered by the Fleet Air Arm Museum, and is in the process of being restored to display condition - perhaps eventually even complete with a Sopwith Camel on board!
The Daily Mail have picked up on the story and today (1st March 2011) have published a piece on it.
