Those Magnificent Men

No - not THAT fantastic film. This is the play - and its not about pre-war air races either.
Those Magnificent Men PosterThe New Perspectives Theatre Company are putting on  a production of Those Magnificent Men, a play by Brian Mitchell and Joseph Nixon about the first non-stop crossing of the Atlantic by air - by WW1 veterans Alcock and Brown.

See the story how it's never been told before - at Wadenhoe Village Hall on 12th March 2010. If you want to know where else this comic masterpiece is being showcased, check out New Perspectives' web site. If you've never heard of Wadenhoe, I'm not surprised. It's a sleepy little village in rural Northamptonshire - buried in the rolling countryside between Peterborough and Kettering. If you're thinking about attending (do - it'll be great!) check here for a map.

Tickets are for sale from Richard Wassell on 01832 720554. Bar opens at 19:00 and the event starts at 19:30. I can't wait to see how on earth they're going to fit a Vickers Vimy into the Village Hall ...
