As part of their excellent, lottery funded exhibition "First World War in the Air", the RAF Museum are hosting a series of lunchtime WW1 aviation lectures through 2017:
19th May 2017 from 12:30 until 14:00
"Musical Entertainments in the RFC/RAF on the Western Front, 1914-1918"

18th August 2017 from 12:30 until 14:00
"From Habit to Dependency: Hendon and Military Aviation in the First World War"
by Nina Hadaway (Royal Air Force Museum)
17th November 2017 from 12:30 until 14:00
"The Royal Flying Corps Canada: Training and Aviation in Canada through One Man’s Eyes"
by Dr John Maker (Canadian War Museum)
All lectures are free of charge but you will need to pre-book online.
If you would like to be considered to present a lecture in a future series, email RAFM Historian Ross Mahoney.
A parallel series of lectures is being offered, which concentrates on WW2 and the Cold War - details can be found on the RAF Museum web site: www.rafmuseum.org.uk
