 | This section now includes short articles that will not appear in the journal. First is a
piece by John Grech on the career of an Australian Camel pilot, 2/Lt FDC Gore.
|
 | While researching our favourite subject, we all come across those little problems from
time to time that we just can't resolve. Years go by but we keep on searching, knowing the
answer will turn up one day.

| Lt FDC Gore |
Gore served with 66 Sqn in France and Italy during 1917-18. He's not one
of the names associated with the squadron, but represents the majority of personnel who
turned out, day in and day out, for little reward. No chest of medals and detailed debates
in later years about his doings - but he was a highly competent and reliable officer.
