The BE12 was a single seat version of the BE2c - used as a fighter.

BE12 - 6180 (26998 bytes)
bulletThere were 613 BE12s made, in three varieties. The main differentiators were the engine, wing cellule and tail. The basic BE12 (above) had the BE2c wing cellule and tail, and was powered by the 140hp RAF4A. The BE12a had the same engine with the BE2e wing cellule, and the BE12b was a BE12 with a 200hp Hispano Suiza. We'll be publishing more details here soon, including plans.

bulletThis is a research project - we don't yet have full history of every BE12 built. There are blanks, mostly from late production machines which were probably delivered straight into store never entering service.

bulletIf you can add any detail, no matter how trivial it may seem, please email Mick Davis directly and we will add your information to the database for the benefit of all.

bulletTo discover the history of any particular machine, enter its serial number in the box below and hit submit. Refer to the table below for BE12  serial ranges. The search is not case sensitive.
