Aircraft of the Aces 62 covers an aircraft whose meagre production numbers had a disproportionately large impact on the war on the Western Front. Used by Naval 8, 9 and 10, as well as the French, and flown by pilots like Collishaw, Little and Dallas, this is another splendid offering from Osprey, and whets my appetite for the relevant squadron histories that are in the pipeline. Nearly 100 photographs and Harry Dempsey’s profiles complement a good text.
