This is Aviation Elite Units 18, a series that needs no introduction to enthusiasts. Well up to the usual high standard, this book traces the combat history of the highest scoring French fighter group in World War I. Everybody good was in ‘Les Cigognes’, including Fonck, Guynemer, Dorme and many
more. The excellent script, with an almost unbelievable amount of information packed into such a small space, is complemented by many photographs and Harry Dempsey’s professional artwork.
