This ‘photojournal’ was first published in German. It contains many excellent photographs, many of which I had not seen before, factory drawings, and an excellent script, all within 45 pages. The point made is that by the middle of 1918, poor workmanship and lack of raw materials were causing huge problems for the fighting squadrons, even if the aircraft themselves were vastly superior to anything the Allies could produce. A great adjunct to Paul Leaman’s seminal work.
