This book is in a thick-magazine format and contains numerous photographs of French aircraft in colour, captioned but without extra text. Unfortunately for us, colour photos from before 1920 are as rare as hens' teeth. Consequently, there are only 14 from before WWI, half of exhibits in the 'Salons de Locomotion Aérienne', and just three from the war years. From the 1920s onwards, the shots become more prolific and of course, there are plenty of more modern machines. So this is a nice magazine, but disappointing from our point of view.
