Stow Maries Aerodrome closed over winter. The next show will be Saturday 5th May 2012, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the RFC.
A decision has been made to close Stow Maries Aerodrome to the public from Monday 5th December 2011 to Thursday 1st March 2012. This closure is due to a programme of restoration on sitein order for the aerodrome to progress and offer more facilities to visitors in the spring. We thank you all for the support given again in the past 12 months and hope that we can improve the visitor experience in the New Year. All group visits to the site that have already been booked will go ahead as planned but no further bookings can be taken for the above period.
Put the weekend of 5th May 2012 in your diary - over that weekend Stow Maries will host a flying show to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Flying Corps.
