Thanks to the tireless efforts of Jeff Hargrave, we have a set of London Meeting dates for 2013.
Following the continued success of the London meeting talks, CCI will be hosting a further series of presentations in 2013 aboard HMS President, previously known in WW1 as HMS Saxifrage. Launched in 1918 as an Anchusa Class corvette, she was equipped as a |QQ'QQ| Ship! It's a fantastic venue for meetings - a wonderful piece of history in its own right. The ship is moored on the Thames Victoria Embankment in Central London, opposite the OXO Tower; postcode EC4Y 0HJ. Nearest tube stations are Blackfriars and Temple.
Check out other news items for information on local parking, for those who prefer not to use the tube.

Dates for 2013
24 May - "England Shall be Destroyed by Fire. The Zeppelin Raids, 1915 - 18" by David Marks
14 June - "Edward Busk, the First Professional Test Pilot?", by Adrian Roberts
26 July - "Digitisation of Photographs for the Cross & Cockade Journal", by Barbara Huston

All dates are Fridays. Folk gather for a chat from 18:00 in the Captain's Lounge, and the talk starts promptly at 19:30. Usually the meeting wraps up around 21:00 which allows plenty of time for people to get back home before the witching hour.
Support the Society - if you live within commuting distance of London why not pop along and see what the fuss is all about!
This year the meetings will again be FREE OF CHARGE. For 2013 the committee have agreed to continue to subsidise the whole cost of the meetings. The idea is to encourage as many as possible to leave their nice warm houses, after a hard week of graft, and venture into the wilds of Central London for a convivial evening in the company of like minds.
Non members are always welcome!!
